A private room with bathroom and hot water, home-cooked meals made by Yonel and his mother Cefererina with what we harvest, work in the fields with the sheep and Bernardo the donkey, weaving, the walk up K'añicristo hill and the campfire. Transport is paid separately.

Message us on WhatsApp or via the form. Yonel confirms your date and you pay a 25% deposit by PayPal or Izipay card link (+5% fee). The remaining 75% is paid on arrival in cash (no fee) or by card (+5%). You can cancel up to 7 days before.

3 options: public transport from Puno (10 soles per person), private road transfer (75 USD round trip per service) or, only for the Taquile Island & Luquina experience, a shared boat (40 USD per person round trip). We help you arrange it.

Nights by the lake are cold, but we give you extra blankets if you feel cold and the bathroom has hot water. Bring warm layers, a hat and a scarf.

We recommend spending at least one night in Puno first, drinking plenty of water and walking slowly. Everything goes at your pace, with a rest after lunch.

Yes. We cook with quinoa, native potatoes, broad beans and vegetables from our fields. Tell us when booking if you are vegetarian, vegan or have allergies.

Yes. Children love going out with the sheep and Bernardo. Travelling solo, you share everything with our family, so you are never alone.

We suggest booking at least 48 hours ahead. If your bus, flight or the weather changes your plans, message Yonel and we find another date.
