Booking Policies

Welcome to LUQUINA 360: Authentic Titicaca Living Experiences

The following policies outline the booking process, cancellation terms, and general recommendations to ensure you have a safe and memorable experience with us.

Reservations

  • Message us on WhatsApp (+51 943 476 199) or email with your date and number of travelers.
  • Yonel confirms availability and personally helps you plan your arrival.
  • Your booking is confirmed once we receive the 25% deposit.

Payment Policy

  • To secure your date you pay a 25% deposit with the PayPal button (reservas@luquina360.com) or a secure Izipay card link (Visa, Mastercard, American Express).
  • PayPal and card payments carry an additional 5% fee to cover payment processing costs. Travelers in Peru can pay by BCP, Yape or Plin with no fee.
  • The remaining 75% is paid on arrival at our home in Luquina Chico, in cash (USD or soles, no fee) or by card (+5% fee).
  • Transport is paid separately, in a single payment at the time of the transfer.
  • Our private rooms have their own bathroom and hot water, and we give you extra blankets in case you feel cold.

Cancellation Policy

Flexible Cancellation:

  • You can cancel with no problem up to 7 days before arrival: we refund your deposit (minus the payment processing fee) or keep it as credit for another date.
  • Cancellations less than 7 days before arrival are non-refundable, as we hold the room and prepare everything for your group.
  • If your flight or bus is delayed or you have a health issue, message Yonel and we will find a new date together.
  • If the weather does not allow an activity, we adapt or reschedule it, always putting your safety first.

Responsible Travel

LUQUINA 360 promotes respectful and sustainable tourism experiences. Guests are kindly asked to:

  • Respect local traditions and customs
  • Protect the natural environment
  • Interact respectfully with community members
  • Support responsible tourism practices

Health, Altitude & Navigation

  • Altitude: Activities take place at approximately 3,800 meters above sea level. We recommend travelers arrive in Puno at least one day before the experience to acclimatize properly.
  • Weather: Lake activities and navigation schedules may vary depending on weather and safety conditions. The safety and well-being of travelers and local families are always our priority.

Recommendations & Personal Belongings

Travelers are responsible for their personal belongings during activities and transportation. We recommend carrying only essential items during excursions and lake navigation.

We suggest bringing:

  • Warm clothing for cold nights
  • Sunscreen and sunglasses
  • Comfortable walking shoes
  • Water bottle
  • Camera
  • Personal medication if necessary
